BD Manager - Banking & Finance
Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join the Clients & Markets team of a leading international law firm.
Working closely with the Senior Business Development Manager and key partners, you will support the delivery of business development and marketing initiatives across the Restructuring, Banking & Finance practice.
The role will involve driving client development, managing pitches and proposals, delivering targeted campaigns, coordinating events and sponsorships, and supporting the practice's wider strategic growth objectives.
Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver business development campaigns and client targeting initiatives.
• Manage pitches, RFPs and new business opportunities.
• Support key client relationships and partner business plans.
• Identify market opportunities through research and client intelligence.
• Coordinate client events, sponsorships and networking initiatives.
• Manage legal directory and awards submissions.
• Develop high-quality presentations, credentials and marketing materials.
• Monitor budgets and work collaboratively with international BD teams.
Job Requirements
• Previous business development or marketing experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
• A commercial mindset and proactive approach.
• Strong Microsoft Office and LinkedIn skills.
• A degree-level education or relevant marketing qualification (CIM or equivalent).
