A leading UK law firm is seeking a proactive BD & Client Manager to drive client development, support partners, and help convert opportunities into measurable growth. This role suits someone commercially minded, highly organised and confident working closely with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Support partners with client development plans, targeting and opportunity management.
• Drive follow-up and tracking across BD and marketing activity.
• Deliver targeted campaigns, coordinating messaging, materials and outcomes.
• Lead on pitches, proposals, and legal directory/awards submissions.
• Support key client accounts and client listening programmes.
• Facilitate collaboration across teams and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Track activity, report on results and use data to inform improvements.
• Mentor and manage a Senior BD Executive.
Job Requirements
• Experience in a client-facing BD or relationship management role within professional services.
• Strong track record in campaigns, pitches and client development.
• Confident working with partners/senior stakeholders.
• CRM proficiency and data-led approach.
• Excellent project management, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised, proactive, commercially aware and calm under pressure.
• Supportive and collaborative, with strong attention to detail.
