Business Development Executive
Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join a collaborative and high-performing Business Development & Marketing team within a leading professional services organisation.
This role is ideal for an ambitious Business Development professional looking to build on their experience in a professional services environment. Working closely with Business Development Managers and senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in supporting business growth, strengthening client relationships, and delivering impactful marketing and business development initiatives.
As Business Development Executive, you will support a broad range of business development activities across multiple sectors and service lines. You will contribute to client development programmes, work-winning campaigns, market analysis, proposals, events, and CRM initiatives, helping to drive sustainable growth across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Growth
• Supporting the delivery of client and sector plans.
• Building strong relationships with partners, client account leads and key stakeholders.
• Coordinating follow-up actions from client and sector meetings.
• Assisting with initiatives that enhance brand visibility and generate commercial opportunities.
Market Insight & Analysis
• Analysing client, market and sector data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Producing reports, presentations and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Supporting competitor research and market intelligence activities.
• Assisting with financial and client performance reporting.
Campaigns & Communications
• Supporting the planning and execution of business development and marketing campaigns.
• Coordinating thought leadership and profile-raising initiatives.
• Contributing content for newsletters, alerts and external communications.
• Monitoring and reporting on campaign effectiveness.
Proposals, Credentials & Directories
• Maintaining and developing credential and CV databases.
• Supporting submissions for awards, surveys and industry directories.
• Assisting with proposal and pitch preparation.
Events & Relationship Building
• Supporting the delivery of seminars, webinars, conferences and client events.
• Working with internal stakeholders to ensure successful event execution and follow-up.
CRM & Data Management
• Maintaining accurate client and contact information within CRM systems.
• Producing reports and insights from CRM and financial reporting tools.
• Supporting data quality initiatives and compliance requirements.
Job Requirements
• Experience in a Business Development, Marketing or related role within professional services.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and building effective internal relationships.
