Communications & Marketing Executive
Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communications & Marketing Executive to join a leading law firm recognised for advising clients across the creative, media, technology and entrepreneurial sectors. This is a varied role for a communications professional who enjoys creating engaging content, managing PR activity and delivering impactful internal and external communications. Working closely with the Communications & Marketing Manager and senior stakeholders across the firm, you'll help shape the firm's profile, strengthen its brand and support strategic growth initiatives.
As Communications & Marketing Executive, you'll play a key role in delivering the firm's communications strategy, supporting both firmwide initiatives and individual practice groups. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
• Coordinating PR activity, identifying media opportunities and supporting wider communications campaigns.
• Creating and editing high-quality content for websites, articles, marketing materials, social media and other digital channels.
• Managing legal directory and award submissions.
• Supporting digital marketing campaigns and producing engaging marketing collateral.
• Leading internal communications initiatives, including newsletters, announcements, events and change communications.
• Managing and developing the firm's internal communications platform.
• Monitoring communications performance and identifying opportunities to improve engagement.
Job Requirements
You'll be a creative and confident communicator with excellent writing and editing skills and the ability to adapt your style for different audiences. We're looking for someone who has:
• 2-4 years' experience in communications or marketing (professional services experience is advantageous but not essential).
• Excellent copywriting, storytelling and editing skills.
• Strong project management and organisational abilities.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and managing multiple priorities.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with marketing, CRM and design platforms would be beneficial.
