Head of Client Development
Job Description
A leading professional services firm is seeking a Head of Client Development to strengthen key client relationships, drive revenue growth and enhance the firm’s commercial impact. This senior role works closely with partners and leadership to embed a client-focused, insight-led approach across the business while developing a high-performing Client Development team.
Responsibilities
• Lead firmwide client development and key account programmes to deepen relationships and improve client experience.
• Turn client and market insight into structured account plans and growth strategies.
• Coach partners and support teams to build confidence, clarity and focus in business development.
• Design and deliver targeted, data-driven sector and client campaigns.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align activity with the firm’s growth strategy.
• Lead, motivate and develop the Client Development team.
Job Requirements
• Significant experience in client development, key account management or BD within professional services.
• Proven ability to deliver programmes that achieve measurable growth.
• Strong partner coaching and senior stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with client listening/feedback initiatives and using insight to shape strategy.
• Excellent communication, project management and influencing skills.
• Commercial, strategic, collaborative and confident working at senior level.
