Senior BD Manager - Brussels
Job Description
We’re working with a leading international law firm seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior BD Manager to join its global BD team, supporting a high-profile Antitrust & Trade practice.
With a primary focus on Brussels and Continental Europe, this is a hands-on, strategic role offering the opportunity to work closely with partners, lawyers and colleagues across an international network.
You’ll play a key role in delivering the practice’s business development strategy, supporting the identification and pursuit of new client and market opportunities, and helping to drive sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
• Supporting the development and implementation of strategic BD and marketing plans
• Working closely with partners and lawyers to identify and pursue revenue-generating opportunities
• Providing market, client, prospect and competitor insight to inform strategic decision-making
• Supporting the development and promotion of BD initiatives and product offerings
• Proactively identifying emerging market trends and opportunities across the region and globally
• Providing tailored support on significant pitches and maintaining capability statements
• Raising the profile of the practice and its lawyers through thought leadership, events, conferences, sponsorships and PR initiatives
• Supporting marketing communications projects, including directories and awards submissions
• Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and acting as a trusted BD adviser
• Collaborating with colleagues across the wider international BD, Communications and Knowledge teams
Job Requirements
You’ll have previous Business Development experience within professional services, ideally a law firm, together with strong commercial awareness and an interest in the legal market.
You’ll be confident working with senior stakeholders, highly organised and proactive, with excellent communication and project management skills.
