Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Senior Manager to drive growth across the Employment & Incentives, Pensions, and Tax practices of a top 10 global law firm. This is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic initiatives that strengthen client relationships, enhance cross-practice collaboration, and deliver measurable revenue growth. You’ll shape and execute business development strategies aligned with firmwide and sector priorities. Working closely with partners and senior stakeholders, you’ll translate market intelligence and client insights into actionable plans, ensuring high-impact campaigns and client growth initiatives are successfully delivered.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement BD strategies that align with global and practice-specific goals.
• Build trusted relationships with partners, clients, and internal teams to drive collaboration.
• Oversee strategic pitches, proposals, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Leverage data and market insights to identify growth opportunities and track performance.
• Champion cross-selling initiatives across practices and sectors.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing BD team, fostering a culture of inclusion and excellence.
Job Requirements
• Significant BD experience within legal or professional services.
• Strong understanding of Employment, Incentives, Pensions, and Tax markets.
• Proven success developing and executing strategic BD plans.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Data-driven, commercially minded, and confident in influencing at senior levels.
• Degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline (advanced qualifications preferred).
