We are looking for a talented Business Development & CRM Executive to support a growing BD & Marketing team within a regional law firm.  This is a fantastic opportunity to shape something from the ground up, delivering high-value, client-focused programmes, campaigns, and strategies that will make a measurable difference to the future of the business.

You will work closely with senior leaders, practice group heads, and the wider BD&M team to develop and grow a fully integrated, strategic, and client-focused function.

You’ll also leverage existing systems and processes and bring fresh ideas to enhance the way we work.

Responsibilities

You’ll support a range of strategic and operational tasks and projects, including:

• Delivering BD strategy plans in partnership with managers, practice heads, and partners.

• Contributing to key client management programmes and client development frameworks.

• Supporting client segmentation and prioritisation to identify brand-enhancing, scalable, and profitable relationships.

• Running structured client feedback and listening programmes and translating insights into actions.

• Supporting tenders and proposals.

• Rolling out tools that support client planning, engagement, and reporting.

• Maximising value from our CRM platform.

• Helping to create a client-first culture across all BD&M activities.

• Maintaining sales collateral to support cross-selling opportunities.

• Supporting campaigns to win work from existing and prospective clients.

• Assisting with the events programme and legal directory submissions.

Job Requirements

You’ll be reliable, responsive, and proactive, with experience in business development in a law firm or professional services environment. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working autonomously, and collaborating effectively across teams.

Key skills and attributes include:

• Proven BD experience within a professional services environment.

• A solutions-orientated approach with a passion for client service.

• Creative thinking and an appetite for new ideas and initiatives.

• Strong understanding of legal or professional services markets.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to build collaborative relationships.

• Outstanding organisational and project management skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
