BD Executive - Nottingham
Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Business Development Executive to join our busy BD and Marketing team. In this role, you’ll support a wide range of initiatives designed to raise the firm’s profile and help generate new business.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate events from start to finish: invitations, logistics, delegate management, onsite support, and post-event follow-up.
• Support fee earners with awards, dinners, networking events, and client entertainment bookings.
• Manage BD pipelines and attend meetings to help ensure follow-through on planned activities.
• Research industry events and manage registrations.
• Maintain BD administration including planners, ROI trackers, budgets, CRM data, and mailing lists.
• Prepare content for campaigns, invitations, webpages, and social media, ensuring GDPR compliance.
• Assist with sector group activity planning and coordinate newsletters and marketing materials.
• Liaise with internal teams (design, facilities, PR, etc.) to deliver effective marketing support.
• Maintain CRM records and assist with client and prospect research.
• Provide general administrative support to BD and marketing projects.
Job Requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to build strong internal relationships.
• Confident working independently and as part of a team.
• Skilled in MS Office; experience with CRM systems and social media is an advantage.
• Experience within a law firm or professional services environment is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work across Midlands offices, with occasional wider travel.
