An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive / Coordinator to join the busy marketing and business development team of an international law firm with a strong global presence.
Based in London, with hybrid working available, this role is a key part of a collaborative team that supports the firm’s offices across Europe, the US, the Middle East, and Asia. You will work closely with colleagues in London and New York to contribute to a broad range of business development and marketing activities.
This position offers exposure to high-level legal work and a fast-paced, supportive environment, ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their professional services marketing career.
Responsibilities
• Research, write, edit, and design a variety of marketing materials
• Draft and refine content for pitches, client presentations, RFP responses, lawyer bios, practice descriptions, and web content
• Take end-to-end ownership of pitch opportunities, coordinating inputs from stakeholders and ensuring high-quality, on-brand delivery
• Maintain and update content in the pitch management system
• Assist with submissions to legal directories, league tables, and surveys
• Conduct industry and competitive research to support business development strategies
Job Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 2–3 years’ experience in a business development or marketing role (preferably in professional services)
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills – an in-person writing test will be part of the selection process
• Some experience managing or contributing to pitch and proposal projects
• Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and prioritise competing demands
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach
Desirable Skills:
• Experience with CRM systems
• Familiarity with digital publishing, basic HTML, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in a law firm or other professional services environment
• Additional languages are a plus
