Job Description
We’re looking for a Business Development & Marketing Executive to join a dynamic and fast-paced team that supports firmwide initiatives across Business Development, Bids, Marketing, Communications, and Events. Reporting into the Director of Business Development & Marketing, you’ll work alongside a team of specialists focused on building client relationships, winning work, and raising the firm's profile across key sectors.
Responsibilities
• Support Business Development Managers (BDMs) with client and sector plans, and assist in taking new services to market.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns and events to boost visibility and generate leads.
• Analyse client and sector performance data, producing actionable insights.
• Draft content for newsletters, thought leadership, and digital marketing campaigns.
• Manage marketing collateral and maintain consistency across brand assets.
• Assist in the coordination of key directories and award submissions.
• Organise and support firmwide events, webinars, seminars, and client hospitality.
• Maintain CRM and email marketing systems, ensuring data is accurate and GDPR-compliant.
• Create social media content and manage updates to the website.
• Produce pre-recorded content including video and podcasts.
• Support with professional headshots, bios, and internal CV systems.
• Collaborate on internal projects to enhance marketing and BD capabilities.
Job Requirements
• Previous experience in a business development or marketing role (professional services preferred).
• A strong working knowledge of core marketing practices including copywriting, email marketing, content management, and social media.
• Experience using CRM and marketing systems (e.g., OnePlace, Vuture).
• Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
• A proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally work outside normal hours to support events.
