BD Manager (Tech, Media, IP & Competition) - Scotland

This global law firm with over 5,800 lawyers across 80+ offices worldwide, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to support and drive BD strategies for their leading Technology, Media, Intellectual Property and Competition practices.

What you’ll be doing:

• Partnering with senior lawyers and practice groups to identify and execute strategic business development opportunities

• Leading the preparation of high-quality pitch materials and client presentations

• Developing and implementing engaging marketing campaigns and events

• Driving legal directory and award submissions to boost rankings and market presence

• Using data and BD systems to support effective planning, budgeting, and reporting

• Staying close to industry trends, legislative developments and emerging technologies to inform BD activity

What they’re looking for:

• Strong BD and/or marketing experience in a professional services or law firm environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail

• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and leading strategic initiatives

• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong project management skills

• Experience working with CRM systems and BD tools (desirable but not essential)
