CRM Manager - 12 month FTC
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager to join our Financial Institutions Sector Cluster on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will support the team during a period of absence and sickness and is well suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on, adaptable, and making an immediate impact.
You will join a collaborative Financial Institutions team of six, reporting to the Head of Sector Cluster – Financial Institutions, and will support 8–10 enterprise, diverse FI clients across a global network.
Responsibilities
• Partner with relationship partners to deliver white-space analysis, opportunity spotting, and strategic account development across priority FI clients
• Contribute to and execute client strategies, plans, and deliverables, ensuring proactive and effective CRM and sales cycle support
• Drive cross-selling, new business introductions, and protection of existing relationships
• Identify and develop growth opportunities arising from market, sector, and regulatory developments
• Build and maintain strong personal relationships with key client stakeholders
• Lead and support client meetings, feedback programmes, and relationship reviews, ensuring actions are followed through
• Support fee negotiations, pricing discussions, panel submissions, and client proposals in collaboration with relationship partners and pricing teams
• Monitor financial performance and client exposure, escalating risks and opportunities where appropriate
• Use and champion CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) to manage client activity, insights, and reporting
• Work closely with BDM colleagues and other business teams to ensure client teams have the right resources, insights, and support
Job Requirements
• Relevant client development experience within a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong experience working with Financial Institutions clients
• Candidates from law firms are ideal; Big 4 candidates with FI experience are also welcomed
• Proven ability to identify strategic opportunities and help win complex work
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder-management skills
• Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Comfortable working with data, analytics, and reporting to inform decisions
• Experience with CRM tools and account planning methodologies
