We are seeking an experienced Business Development & Marketing Manager to support the growth of our Real Estate and Dispute Resolution practices.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional with a strong track record of delivering high-impact business development and marketing programmes within a global professional services environment. The role requires high levels of initiative and the ability to translate emerging business issues into tangible commercial opportunities.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, be supported by a Business Development Executive, and collaborate with Digital Marketing, Events, PR & Communications, Bids, and international Business Development teams.

Responsibilities

Business Development Strategy

• Support the development of practice strategy and sub-group business plans.

• Execute and communicate strategy internally and externally.

Client Relationship Management & Targeting

• Lead client account planning and relationship management.

• Conduct client research and targeting.

• Develop compelling value propositions.

• Drive cross-selling opportunities.

• Build relationships with intermediaries and overseas partners.

Campaign Development & Delivery

• Identify thought leadership and campaign opportunities through market research and horizon scanning.

• Develop and deliver BD campaigns to raise market profile.

• Manage end-to-end campaign performance, tracking ROI and impact.

Marketing Activities & Infrastructure

• Deliver marketing activity using CRM and marketing systems.

• Create and manage marketing collateral including brochures, website content, social media, alerts and newsletters.

• Maintain marketing infrastructure such as mailing lists and credentials databases.

Coordination

• Collaborate cross-practice and internationally to identify opportunities.

• Oversee event planning and post-event follow-up.

• Coordinate pitches, RFPs, directory and award submissions.

• Ensure marketing materials align with brand guidelines.

BD Skills Development & Training

• Provide strategic advice to lawyers on BD.

• Deliver BD training to teams and individuals.

Job Requirements

• Degree educated.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a BD/Marketing Manager role within professional services.

• Experience in real estate and exposure to contentious legal practices.

• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Confident with digital marketing and social media channels.

• Highly organised with strong project management skills.

• Collaborative, proactive and commercially driven.
