Senior BD Manager - Technology - 14 month FTC
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to join a leading international law firm on a 14-month fixed term contract. The role supports the firm’s Technology practice groups and represents a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible, strategic position within a fast-growing area of the firm.
This is a broad and varied role with significant strategic exposure and the chance to operate as a trusted adviser to senior partners across the group.
Responsibilities
• Supporting Digital Economy and Technology partners with strategic business planning and execution
• Identifying and developing growth opportunities across key technology sub-sectors
• Leading and coordinating pitches, proposals and panel submissions
• Driving integrated BD campaigns, thought leadership and profile-raising initiatives
• Using market, client and financial insights to inform strategy and decision-making
• Working collaboratively across BD, marketing, communications and wider business services teams
• Acting as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders and helping to shape the long-term growth agenda for the practice
Job Requirements
• Proven experience in business development within a law firm or professional services environment
• Exposure to, or strong interest in, the Technology and/or Digital Economy space
• Experience operating at Manager level or above, with the confidence to work closely with senior partners
• Strategic mindset combined with strong execution skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment and managing a broad portfolio of work
