Senior Bids Executive - NewLaw & Risk Advisory
Job Description
This role focuses on supporting strategic bids and pursuits across innovative service lines including NewLaw / Alternative Legal Services, Risk Advisory & Technology. As a Bids & Pursuits Senior Executive, you will support and lead the end-to-end bid lifecycle, working closely with partners, business development teams, and subject matter experts.
This is a highly collaborative role where you will help define pursuit strategies, develop clear win themes, and deliver high-quality, differentiated submissions aligned to evolving client needs—particularly across consulting-led and tech-enabled services
Responsibilities
• Support and lead strategic bids and pursuits from qualification through to submission and post-bid review
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define win strategies, value propositions, and key messaging
• Produce high-quality written content—writing, editing, and refining proposals to a high standard
• Conduct client and market research to inform pursuit strategy
• Support presentations, stakeholder briefings, and bid aftercare
• Ensure consistency, compliance, and best practice across all submissions
• Contribute to proposal design, including visual elements and structured messaging
• Support the development and use of bid tools, systems, and content libraries
• Analyse bid performance and feedback to drive continuous improvement
• Champion best practice in bid methodology and writing standards
Job Requirements
• 5+ years’ experience in bids, pursuits, or proposals within legal, professional services, consulting, or similar environments
• Proven experience contributing to successful, strategic bids
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling content
• Experience managing or supporting the full bid lifecycle
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of quality control
• Ability to identify client needs and articulate clear benefits and differentiators
• Commercial awareness and a solutions-focused mindset
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word and PowerPoint)
• Interest or exposure to NewLaw, Alternative Legal Services, Risk Advisory, or consulting-led services (desirable)
