 Are you a commercially-minded marketing and business development professional with a passion for financial markets? We’re looking for a Marketing & Business Development (M&BD) Manager to join a leading international law firm’s Financial Markets team on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, internationally recognised Financial Markets practice. You’ll work alongside senior stakeholders and a high-performing M&BD team to drive strategic marketing and business development initiatives across a broad spectrum of transactional legal services. The role offers a rare balance of strategic input and hands-on delivery, requiring someone who is both confident working independently and skilled in cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of marketing and business development activities for the Financial Markets group, including campaign planning, thought leadership, product launches, and events.

• Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies for sub-practice areas and key clients.

• Support partners and lawyers on client development plans, pipeline growth, and pitch opportunities.

• Drive content creation for internal and external channels (website, factsheets, intranet), ensuring brand consistency and impact.

• Manage end-to-end pitch processes, contributing to positioning and messaging.

• Coordinate the delivery of directory and award submissions.

• Support cross-border collaboration with international colleagues, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and shared initiatives.

• Contribute to budgeting, planning, and performance reporting activities.

About You

You’ll be a proactive, solutions-oriented marketing and BD professional with:

• Extensive experience in a marketing, sales or business development role (preferably within professional services).

• A well-developed understanding of BD strategy and marketing execution.

• Strong project management and communication skills.

• Commercial acumen, with the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.

• A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a high-performing team.
