Events Executive - Scotland
Job Description
Are you a dynamic and organised events professional looking to take the next step in your career? This global law firm is seeking an Events Executive to join a busy and collaborative team supporting a wide variety of high-profile, in-person events across Scotland. From client seminars and conferences to receptions and strategic internal initiatives, you’ll play a key role in creating exceptional event experiences that drive engagement and support business objectives.
About the Role
Reporting to the Events Co-Team Lead, you’ll work alongside UK Events Managers and other stakeholders to plan, manage, and execute events that reflect the professionalism and ambition of a leading international organisation. You'll be the go-to contact for events across three Scottish offices, managing everything from event concept to delivery and post-event analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver a range of in-person events across Scotland, including onsite support.
• Lead on Scotland’s events calendar and liaise with stakeholders to align events with business goals.
• Own the end-to-end event lifecycle: planning, budgeting, vendor management, logistics, and reporting.
• Manage event-related data in the CRM system and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Communicate event details across internal teams to encourage collaboration and engagement.
• Provide administrative support for both live and virtual events.
About You
This firm is looking for someone proactive, organised, and client-focused, with a genuine passion for delivering seamless event experiences.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
• Previous experience in events within professional services, ideally legal.
• Strong track record managing in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
• Excellent project management and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and strong administrative capabilities.
• The confidence to work with senior stakeholders and advise on event strategy.
• Working knowledge of GDPR in an events context, plus CRM and eMarketing tools.
• Flexibility to support events outside of standard working hours when required.
