We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager of Public Relations (EMEA) to co-lead a global PR function alongside the Senior Manager of PR (Americas). This role is central to developing and implementing integrated public relations strategies that enhance the firm’s profile, support business development goals, and protect its global brand reputation.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in media relations, a strong understanding of the legal or professional services industry, and the ability to translate complex matters into compelling, clear messaging. You’ll proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders, manage strategic campaigns, and guide a high-performing regional team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic PR campaigns in alignment with firm and practice group priorities.

• Pitch stories, manage media outreach and press releases to secure meaningful media coverage.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media outlets.

• Act as a spokesperson for the firm in the EMEA region as needed.

• Advise and support senior lawyers and internal stakeholders on media engagement, messaging, and interview preparation.

• Collaborate with global teams across Business Development, DE&I, Pro Bono, Risk, and other departments.

• Oversee awards and recognition strategies, including submission planning and messaging.

• Manage and mentor PR staff within the EMEA region; lead agency relationships to ensure alignment with objectives, budget, and timelines.

• Participate in crisis communications strategy and response as needed.

• Regularly report on PR performance, KPIs, and impact; identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Champion a culture of excellence, collaboration, and service.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in public relations, ideally within a law firm, professional services, or corporate communications environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, media relations or related field required; advanced degree is a plus.

• Previous experience in an international legal or professional services firm preferred.

• European language skills are a plus but not required.
