A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially savvy Senior Executive to join the BD & Clients team within a global legal environment. This position will play a central role in driving strategic growth and client development initiatives across the Energy industry—one of the firm’s key priority sectors.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across practices and geographies, supporting the delivery of industry strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and enhancing client engagement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a matrixed environment, enjoys strategic collaboration, and is passionate about market-driven growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the Energy industry strategy across regions, ensuring global alignment and knowledge sharing.

• Collaborate with practice leaders and partners to prioritise business development efforts that align with strategic revenue goals.

• Use market and client insights to identify emerging trends and drive opportunities for client engagement and lead generation.

• Coordinate major client pursuits, including pitches and proposals, in collaboration with key teams (e.g., Pursuits, Pricing).

• Help manage client account plans, pipelines, and financial analysis to support relationship deepening and profitable growth.

• Drive profile-raising initiatives, including campaigns and thought leadership activities, in coordination with marketing and communications teams.

• Support internal knowledge sharing, practice management, budgeting, and reporting activities.

• Proven experience in a business development or client growth role within a professional services, legal, or industry-focused environment.

• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and initiatives with strong attention to detail.

• Commercially minded with a strategic outlook and a passion for industry-focused growth.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

• Highly collaborative and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure.
