Senior BD Executive (Real estate sector - global law firm)

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in driving strategy, growth, and client engagement in the Real Estate sector? Join a dynamic BD team operating across EMEA, Asia Pacific, and the US, focused on delivering industry-leading solutions and exceptional client experiences.
This key position supports practice and industry collaboration, growth initiatives, and client engagement within the Real Estate group. You will work closely with senior managers and partner stakeholders to implement strategy while collaborating across the wider BD function to deliver a cohesive, firm-wide approach.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
• Support delivery of Practice and Industry strategies, collaborating with regional counterparts for global connectivity.
• Assist practice and industry teams with business development, event delivery, and revenue growth initiatives.
• Drive strategic market-facing initiatives with partner teams and monitor implementation progress.
• Coordinate and support initiatives such as the Next Gen Industry Academy for business development coaching.
2. Opportunity Identification & Management
• Use market and client insights to identify emerging issues and client opportunities in Real Estate.
• Manage opportunity tracking, collateral preparation, and coordination of strategic pursuits.
• Support major client opportunities, including bids and proposals, working with global teams.
• Contribute to profile-raising campaigns and thought leadership initiatives.
3. Client Development & Management
• Cultivate a targeted community of regional client accounts.
• Develop in-depth understanding of clients’ businesses and share insights internally.
• Leverage firm-wide thought leadership to engage clients and support relationship-building.
• Execute client account plans in collaboration with Client Relationship Partners.
• Analyse trends, opportunities, and financials across the client portfolio to support growth.
4. Practice & Industry Management
• Support internal communications highlighting practice, industry, and client successes.
• Assist with CMG budget and initiative planning, monitoring spend and ROI.
• Share knowledge across the team and contribute to training programs.
• Prepare marketing materials, client publications, sales collateral, and capability statements.
• Manage directory and award submissions, ensuring messaging and deadlines are met.
Job Requirements
• Strong understanding or interest in the Real Estate sector and client development practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
