Senior Events Executive
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Events Executive to join a dynamic Business Development & Marketing team at a leading law firm. This is a key role at an exciting time of growth, offering the chance to work directly with senior stakeholders and partners to deliver a creative and results-driven events programme.
Responsibilities
• Plan and execute a range of in-person and online client events, webinars, and networking initiatives that drive engagement and support business development.
• Manage the firm’s presence at external conferences and industry forums to ensure maximum visibility and return on investment.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop innovative event formats and strategies that build strong client relationships and open new business opportunities.
• Ensure each event is measured against clear KPIs, with insights used to refine future activities.
• Oversee all event-related communications — from invitations to post-event follow-up — across web, email, and social channels.
• Manage suppliers, venues, and third-party platforms to ensure seamless execution.
• Oversee budgets, timelines, and logistics for multiple events simultaneously.
• Support the creation of event materials, including collateral production and CRM management.
Job Requirements
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in events within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Proven success in planning and delivering commercially effective events that support growth and client engagement.
• Highly organised with strong project management skills — you’re calm under pressure and can juggle competing priorities with ease.
• Creative, proactive, and confident in presenting new ideas to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with strong attention to detail.
• Tech-savvy and confident using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM systems, and digital platforms.
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
