Events Manager
Job Description
A leading London law firm is seeking an experienced and highly organised Events Manager to lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of a diverse programme of client and internal events. This is a hands-on role suited to a confident professional who enjoys managing relationships, running multiple projects and delivering exceptional experiences that reflect the firm’s brand and standards.
Responsibilities
• Plan, manage and deliver a calendar of client seminars, conferences, networking events and hospitality.
• Manage events from concept through to execution and post-event evaluation.
• Coordinate with partners, business development teams and external suppliers to deliver high-quality events.
• Manage event budgets, track spend and ensure value for money.
• Source venues, manage contracts and negotiate with suppliers.
• Oversee logistics including guest lists, invitations, registrations and on-the-day delivery.
• Ensure branding and messaging are consistent across all events.
• Collect feedback and produce post-event reports including ROI analysis.
• Support online and hybrid events where required.
Job Requirements
• Proven experience managing events, ideally within a professional services or legal environment.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Confident dealing with senior stakeholders and clients.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Budget management and supplier negotiation experience.
