Senior BD Manager - Finance - 12 month FTC
Job Description
A leading US law firm is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to support its top-ranked Finance, Restructuring and Structured Finance practices on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is strategic, fast-paced and highly collaborative, working closely with senior lawyers and global BD teams on high-profile, cross-border matters.
Responsibilities
• Lead and deliver high-quality pitches, proposals and client materials
• Drive strategic BD initiatives and support practice business plans
• Coordinate client outreach and cross-selling opportunities across Europe and the US
• Manage directory and award submissions
• Maintain BD infrastructure: deal reporting, credentials, templates and databases
• Support thought leadership, PR and social media activity
• Partner with Events on client engagement initiatives and measure ROI
Job Requirements
• Senior-level BD/marketing experience in professional services (legal preferred)
• Strong commercial awareness of finance and restructuring markets
• Confident, proactive and highly organised with excellent communication skills
• Experience running complex, multi-stakeholder projects
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel abilities; familiarity with LinkedIn and finance databases (e.g., Debtwire, 9fin, Mergermarket)
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work closely with senior stakeholders
